Eligibility Criteria
In order to apply for the post of Probationary Officers in Canara Bank, the candidates must fulfill the under mentioned eligibility details:
(a) Age-based Eligibility : As on 1st October 2018, the minimum and maximum age of the candidate should lie between 20 to 30 years. This means that the candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.10.1988 and not later than 01.10.1998 (both days inclusive).
(b) Educational Qualifications : The candidate should possess a degree in graduation from a University recognized by the Government of India or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central gov. of the country, with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PWBD) or equivalent grade.

Salary and Pay Scale
Pay scale as given in the Notification is JMGS-I – 23700 – 980/7 – 30560 – 1145/2 – 32850 – 1310/7 – 42020 Dearness Allowance, HRA, CCA, Medical Aid, Leave Fare Concession etc. and Perquisites which include Convenience, Furniture etc., depending on the place of posting shall be paid as per rules.
Selection Process
The process of selection in Canara Bank PO 2018 will comprise of following stages:
1) Online Objective Test
The exam pattern of online objective test consists of four sections of Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, English and General Awareness. Each section will have 50 questions with 1 question of 1 mark each. In total 200 questions for 200 marks. The composite time duration for this online objective test is 2 hours.
2) Group Discussion and Interview
The second and the last stage, after qualifying the phase 1 test comprises of Group Discussion and Interview.
