World Tuberculosis Day | 24th March

World Tuberculosis Day is observed every year on 24th March to spread awareness in public about the increasing epidemic of Tuberculosis (TB) in the world and requiring efforts to eliminate this disease. This day is observed by all the UN Member States and it is one of the eighth global public health campaign started by the World Health Organisation (WHO).

3.) Despite being curable TB is one of the leading infectious diseases that kill people. As per the reports every day, nearly 4500 number of people lose their lives and around 30,000 people fall ill with this disease.
